Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the JourneyDoctors platform (journeydoctors.com and associated mobile applications), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JourneyDoctors Inc., a Delaware corporation.

Service Description

JourneyDoctors is a telehealth platform that provides access to AI-powered health guidance and licensed human healthcare providers including physicians and nurses. Our services include:

• •AI health consultations with specialised AI doctor personas
• •Video and phone consultations with licensed human physicians and nurses
• •AI nurse care subscription plans for ongoing health monitoring
• •Health records management and appointment scheduling

User Eligibility

To use JourneyDoctors you must:

• •Be at least 18 years of age
• •Be a resident of the United States or a US territory
• •Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• •Not be prohibited from using our services under applicable law

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that do not meet these criteria.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• •Providing accurate and complete information when creating your account and using our services
• •Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• •All activity that occurs under your account
• •Notifying us immediately at support@journeydoctors.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• •Keeping your contact information up to date

You must provide accurate health information during consultations. Providing false or misleading health information may result in inappropriate care and account termination.

Payments & Refund Policy

Payment Terms

All prices are displayed in US Dollars. Payments are processed securely through Paystack. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees for services selected. Consultation fees are charged at the time of booking.

Subscription Plans

AI nurse care subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, effective at the end of your current billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for partial subscription months.

Refund Policy

• •AI consultations: No refunds once a consultation session has commenced. If technical issues on our end prevent a session from completing, you will receive a full credit.
• •Human provider appointments: Full refund if cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations within 24 hours forfeit the consultation fee.
• •Provider no-shows: If a booked human provider fails to attend a scheduled appointment, you will receive a full refund or credit.

Refund requests must be submitted to support@journeydoctors.com within 7 days of the transaction.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

You may cancel or reschedule a booked appointment through your patient dashboard at any time. We request at least 24 hours notice to allow other patients to book the available slot. Repeated late cancellations (within 2 hours of appointment time) may result in a late cancellation fee or account restrictions at our discretion.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• •Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
• •Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity or qualifications
• •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or other users' accounts
• •Upload malicious code, viruses, or any software intended to disrupt the platform
• •Harass, threaten, or abuse providers or other users
• •Use the platform to obtain controlled substances or prescriptions fraudulently
• •Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the platform without written permission
• •Use automated tools to access the platform without prior authorisation

Intellectual Property

All content on the JourneyDoctors platform — including but not limited to the software, AI systems, text, graphics, logos, and user interface — is owned by JourneyDoctors Inc. or its licensors and is protected by US and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial healthcare purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to us about our services may be used by us without obligation to compensate you.

Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

• •AI consultations provide health information and guidance. They are not a substitute for in-person medical evaluation by a licensed physician for conditions that require physical examination.
• •We do not guarantee that human providers will be available at any specific time.
• •We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access to the platform.
• •Individual health outcomes vary. JourneyDoctors does not guarantee specific medical results from consultations.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOURNEYDOCTORS INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any disputes arising from these terms.

Dispute Resolution

We prefer to resolve disputes informally. Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, please contact us at support@journeydoctors.com and we will attempt to resolve the issue within 30 days.

If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. This arbitration agreement does not apply to claims for injunctive relief or intellectual property disputes.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or providers.

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will remain in effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
