For US-licensed providers

Set your rate. Keep your hours. Practice on your terms.

JourneyDoctors is a telehealth platform for licensed US providers who want to practice without the overhead. You set the fee. You set the schedule. We handle the patients, payments, and infrastructure.

Open to MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, and RNs licensed in any US state.

Built for clinicians who want to practice, not administrate.

You set your fee

Publish your per-consultation rate. Patients see your fee before they book — so the people who land on your calendar have already chosen you on price.

You set your hours

Publish availability when it suits you. No shifts, no on-call, no minimum hours. Take time off without asking permission.

No admin, no claims

We don't bill insurance. Patients pay directly. You don't chase reimbursements, fight denials, or hire a billing service.

Patients pre-qualified

Patients describe their concern, accept your fee, and confirm their state of residence before they hit your calendar. No mystery visits.

Modern tooling

Video, audio, chat, secure messaging, and a clinical summary autogenerated after each visit. HIPAA-grade encryption end to end.

You stay independent

You're a 1099 contractor, not an employee. You decide your scope, your style of care, and how you spend your time.

From application to first patient.

Most providers go from "apply" to "first booked visit" in under two weeks.

  1. 1

    Apply

A 3-minute application: license number, NPI, the states you're licensed in, malpractice attestation, and a short bio. No credit card, no commitment.

  2. 2

    Quick review

We run a public-records check against your license and NPI to confirm you're in active, unrestricted standing. Most applicants hear back within a few business days.

  3. 3

    Set your fee and availability

Publish your per-consultation rate, the visit types you offer, and the windows you want to work. Update anytime from your dashboard.

  4. 4

    See patients, get paid weekly

Patients book directly into your calendar. After each visit you confirm completion; payouts settle every Monday via ACH.

You price your work. We move the patients.

Most telehealth platforms quote a per-hour rate and keep the rest. We do the opposite: you set the price of every visit, and we focus on bringing you patients who already accepted that price. A transparent platform fee per completed consultation is shown to you in full during onboarding, before you ever take a visit.

  • You publish your per-consultation fee — any number that fits your specialty and time.
  • Patients see your fee before they book. No surprise charges, no chargebacks.
  • Platform fee is disclosed in writing during onboarding, so you know your exact take-home before you accept a single visit.
  • Earnings settle weekly via direct deposit — no insurance billing, no claims, no chasing reimbursements.
  • Cancel or pause your provider account anytime.

Common questions

Who can join as a provider?
US-licensed physicians (MD, DO), nurse practitioners (NP), physician associates (PA), and registered nurses (RN) in active, unrestricted standing. You'll provide your license number, NPI, and a short bio during application.
Do I need to be licensed in a specific state?
We accept providers licensed in any US state. Patients are routed to you only when you're licensed in the state they're consulting from, so coverage scales with your licensure footprint.
How much can I earn?
You set your own per-consultation fee — JourneyDoctors does not dictate your rate. Patients see your fee before they book, so the people who land on your calendar have already accepted your pricing.
How does JourneyDoctors make money?
A transparent platform fee per completed consultation, disclosed in full during onboarding before you accept any visits. It covers the technology, payments, patient acquisition, support, and compliance overhead. Your share is deposited weekly.
When do I get paid?
Weekly. Earnings from completed consultations settle every Monday and are deposited via direct bank transfer (ACH). You can see your earnings, payouts, and pending balance in your provider dashboard at any time.
Do I need malpractice insurance?
Yes — providers are responsible for carrying their own active malpractice coverage that includes telehealth practice in the states they're licensed in. You'll be asked to attest to coverage during onboarding.
Can I set my own hours?
Completely. You publish your availability in your dashboard and patients can only book within those windows. There's no minimum hours requirement and no penalty for taking time off.
What kinds of visits will I see?
Synchronous video and audio consultations for general primary care, follow-ups, second opinions, mental health, and specialty consults within your declared scope. Patients describe their concern before booking so you can decline visits outside your scope.
Can I keep my day job?
Yes. Most of our providers practice on JourneyDoctors part-time alongside a hospital, clinic, or private-practice role. The platform is designed for asynchronous availability — no shifts, no on-call.
How do I get started?
Click "Apply to join" below. The application takes about 3 minutes and asks for your license number, NPI, the states you're licensed in, and a short bio. We do a quick public-records review and most applicants get a decision within a few business days.
